  • Do any of you remember when I used to be an astrologer? After a while, I realized I kept getting asked to retell the same old story about how I got into that work - from 8 years before. It was like I was always reliving an old chapter of my life, instead of telling the story of who I was becoming in the moment. It was quite an extreme origin story, but there was so much more to me - new stories that were constantly unfolding over time! I grew out of that work, despite its success, because I wanted to follow my heart - and help others follow their hearts - instead of forcing us all to live in the mind. Astrology, while a powerful study that has changed my life and many others’ as a result, helps you discover who you really are so you can live in greater alignment with your heart. But I noticed a lot of people get stuck in the mind because of it. The fear of time and cycles and planets. The fear of not being in alignment! Now, I choose to believe that - while the planets certainly DO still have sway - we get to create our own reality through the power of our intention and frequency. And me?   • Let's stop using AI to write our posts. ⁠ You see, I experimented with AI to write my marketing posts for a month because I had so much to do, and I felt I did not have the time. They were quick, snappy, and so well written, I didn't think it mattered! ChatGPT is a real marvel and a genius, but it is also leading so many spiritual entrepreneurs astray.⁠ ⁠ What happened when I used AI to write is that my engagement went WAYYY down. Not only that, but I didn't feel as connected to myself or my community anymore. This started to feel like a job, and not my passion.⁠ ⁠ Despite having other things I would much rather talk to you about today, the feeling was quite persistent that I needed to send this message NOW, today.⁠ ⁠ It channeled through me with complete ease, flow, and speed - like AI, but genuine, real, authentic, resonant, important. ⁠ ⁠ At the same time, it's the EXACT message we all need to hear and be reminded of right now: The purpose of writing is to connect human-to-human and soul-to-soul. AI writes in a passive voice that prevents ANY form of connection. It creates a barrier, a facade, a cardboard cut-out of the true you. This negatively impacts your engagement and sales (and overall happiness), because people buy from people they connect with.
