Along the way, we’ll be there to support you in your writing process and provide guidance through live calls and access to our online group.

It depends on your budget! You can choose how much you want to spend and how much you want to DIY.
We recommend an additional minimum budget of approximately $1000 USD which will be spent in small doses throughout the year, but this amount could be higher depending on whether you want to get a customized book cover, interior illustrations, fancy interior photography, trade reviews, an audiobook, or a listing with a foreign rights management agency. (These are all decisions we will help you navigate throughout the process!)
The best thing about self-publishing is that you can do so on your own schedule and at your own pace, and in this includes saving up to perfect the different elements of your book if you need to.
We’ll guide you through the process of setting up your book for Print on Demand (POD) so that you won’t have to pay expensive printer’s bills up front and your book will be printed and shipped directly to your customers and wholesalers right when they order.
Yes! All of these subjects are covered in Book Magic and broken down for you step-by-step.
Yes! In additional to selling your book online, you will learn best practices for getting your book purchased by brick-and-mortar retailers as well as libraries.
We’ll discuss all of the decisions you will need to keep in mind throughout the publishing process to set your book up for success in these areas.
Please note that setting your book up to be sold in stores often results in higher expenses and lower profits, so we will also be extensively covering how to promote online sales online where most of the profits are to be had.
On our live calls will be held on Zoom 2 x per month. This is when you can show up to share what you’re working on and receive guidance, support, and feedback on your book idea!
They will be hosted by both Charlotte (Book Coach & Editor) and Natalie (Publisher & Creative Director).
Our first two calls will be on:
Wednesday, January 8th at 3:30 pm PT / 6:30 pm ET // 10:30 am AEDT {on Thursday the 9th}
Saturday, January 25th at 11:30 am PT / 2:30 pm ET / 7:30 pm GMT // 6:30 am AEDT {on Sunday the 26th}
Once we see which time zones everyone is joining us from, we can adjust if needed!
You’ll also be able to ask questions and get feedback through our online group anytime you’d like.
We believe everything happens in divine timing, and sometimes that means things take longer than intended. No worries! When you enroll in Book Magic, you’ll receive lifetime access to all of the modules and the online forum.
You’ll also have 12 months of access to our Writer’s Workshops. After that, you can pay an extra fee to continue receiving live support, but only if you feel you need it.
With Book Magic, you’ll save $9,000 USD! However, you will need to be prepared to do the work to carry your book forward from stage to stage.
We’ll stand on the sidelines to cheer you on, share feedback on your book concept and writing, provide opportunities to set accountability goals, and connect you to the resources you need, but you will be the one responsible for pressing all the buttons and executing your idea.
